What We Do
A. Community Resilience Building
- We strengthen the capacity and knowledge of local communities on peace and conflict.
- We strengthen peaceful coexistence so as to voice for and participate in the promotion of peaceful coexistence among conflict parties.
B. Improving policy environment for peace building
- We Engage key community and government stakeholders in constructive dialogues and consultative events
- We Advocate for the improvement of policy implementation and new policy formulation towards sustainable peace.
- We strengthen traditional institutions particularly women peace builder structures (both as institutions and at individual level)
C.Livelihood Enhancement
- Pastoral and agro-pastoral capacity building
- Provision of vocational skill training for conflict-and drought-affected women and youth in market driven livelihood diversification skills like empowering women through Women Economic Groups (WEG).
- Provision of local dairy goats for female headed households affected by conflict
- Distribution of drought-resistant seeds and provision of training to households
