Local Capacity Building

This component is intended to strengthen the capacity and knowledge of local communities on peace and conflict as well as peaceful coexistence so as to voice for and participate in the promotion of peaceful coexistence among conflict parties. This will contribute to sustainable peace and stability in target regions. The main approaches to implementing the activities will be organizing consultative meetings for target groups, capacity building training for Community Peace Committee (CPC) and project staff, and promotion of community conversations at local levels.
