Community Resilence Building

This activity component aims to enhance the capacity of existing district level Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Committee on climate change adaptation, ecosystem management and restoration and conflict early warning systems to enable them to provide timely and appropriate information on prevention of potential conflicts induced due drought related hazards and the linkage between disaster risk and peace. The DRR committees will also collaborate with the CPCs and the project partners in the implementation of the project providing prior information on conflict and drought situations so as to take proactive measures to minimize and/or protect the project activities from the effect of disaster risks.
